Josh Hazlewood, Australia’s most economical bowler with figures of 1 for 14 from four overs, acknowledged that India’s total was above par for the conditions. “180 or thereabouts would have been a par score. Rohit’s innings was the main reason for their high total,” he said.
Arshdeep emphasized the importance of the extra runs provided by the Indian batsmen. “Having the cushion of an extra 15-20 runs always helps, giving us the freedom to go for wickets,” he noted.
